Licensing, Relationships and Compensation

This California real estate referral disclosure explains how the Synergy team is licensed, when a referral or investor-related fee may apply, and why Synergy is not the buyer or the listing brokerage. Review it before you compare your options.

Licensing, relationships and compensation

Alex Gonzalez is a California Real Estate Broker, DRE #01384006. Synergy Real Estate Group is a DBA of Pacific Residential Realty, Inc., which is owned by Alex Gonzalez.

Synergy is not necessarily the purchaser or listing brokerage. Cash offers are made by participating investors. Listing services are provided only through a separately selected licensed brokerage. Alex Gonzalez may receive compensation through a participating brokerage referral or investor-related compensation if applicable.

California real estate referral disclosure

This California real estate referral disclosure explains Synergy Real Estate Group’s role. Alex Gonzalez is a California Real Estate Broker, DRE #01384006, and may receive a referral fee directly from a participating brokerage when an owner accepts an introduction.

Synergy is not necessarily the purchaser or listing brokerage. Any listing representation begins with a separate agreement with the selected licensed brokerage, and any investor compensation is separately disclosed when applicable.

Understanding this disclosure helps you weigh an investor introduction against an independent brokerage referral. Compare the practical tradeoffs and choose the next step that fits your situation.

The two roles the Synergy team can play

It helps to separate the two things Synergy Real Estate Group may do, because they are governed by different agreements.

  • Options advisor and introducer. This is what most of this site describes: the Synergy team explains the two ways to sell — a participating investor’s cash offer or an open-market sale through an independent licensed brokerage — and, only with your permission, makes an introduction. This role does not make Synergy your agent in a transaction.
  • Not automatically your listing brokerage or the buyer. If you decide you want open-market listing representation, that begins with a separate written agreement with a selected licensed brokerage. That brokerage — not Synergy — is then responsible for its own pricing advice, disclosures, marketing, negotiation, and representation. Cash offers are made by participating investors acting in their own interest, not by Synergy.

When and how the Synergy team is paid

On the brokerage-referral path, Alex Gonzalez, California Real Estate Broker, DRE #01384006, may receive a referral fee from the participating brokerage if you accept an introduction and complete a transaction with that brokerage. The terms of any such fee are arranged between the brokerages and are disclosed in the agreements you sign with the selected brokerage.

On the participating-investor path, any investor-related compensation to Alex Gonzalez is separately disclosed when it applies. There is no fee to you for requesting an options review or for being introduced to an investor or a brokerage.

Because compensation can attach to either path, the tradeoffs between them are laid out for you to weigh, and you are encouraged to compare both paths and get independent advice before you decide.

Why the Synergy team is not the buyer or the listing brokerage

Keeping Synergy separate from both the buyer side and the listing side is deliberate. Participating investors make their own offers and act in their own interest. A selected licensed brokerage owns its own listing advice and representation. The Synergy team sits between you and those independent parties to explain the comparison — not to be the only party on either side of the deal.

How to verify, and what to ask before you accept an introduction

You can verify any California real estate license, including DRE #01384006, through the California Department of Real Estate public license lookup (linked above). Before you accept any introduction, it is reasonable to ask: who is making the offer, who would represent you, what compensation or referral relationship exists, and which agreement creates an agency relationship. The Synergy team will answer those in writing.

Share a few details and Alex will help you understand whether a cash sale with him as the buyer, an open-market sale with him as your listing agent through MGR Real Estate, or another professional resource fits your situation.

Compare my options

On a cash sale, Alex Gonzalez is the buyer for his own account through Synergy Real Estate Group — a principal, not your agent, with a financial interest in the purchase price; deals that do not fit his buying criteria may be presented to other investors in his network, who may pay him a referral fee. On an open-market sale, Alex represents you as your listing agent through MGR Real Estate under a separate written listing agreement; outside his direct service area he refers you to a partner brokerage and may receive a referral fee. No offer, sale price, timeline, foreclosure outcome or closing is guaranteed.

Compare your options with this disclosure in mind

This disclosure is one part of the decision. Below, we compare an investor introduction, an independent brokerage referral, and other professional resources so you can decide what fits your situation.

Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Path

A thoughtful review starts with the facts that can change the practical outcome. Gather the property address, approximate condition, occupancy details, known deadlines, and any documents connected to ownership. This helps the Synergy team explain what information an investor or brokerage may ask for without presenting a preliminary discussion as an appraisal or formal offer.

What matters about timing?

Ask which deadlines are fixed, which are flexible, and who controls the next step. A cash-offer introduction may involve an investor’s own review and underwriting. A brokerage referral may involve preparation, pricing, showings, buyer financing, and escrow. Neither path has a guaranteed closing date.

What should be disclosed?

Ask who is making an offer, who would represent you, what compensation or referral relationship exists, and which agreement creates an agency relationship. Alex Gonzalez is a California Real Estate Broker, DRE #01384006. A selected brokerage is responsible for its own listing advice, disclosures, marketing, negotiations, and representation.

When is another professional needed?

Ownership, probate, tax, lien, foreclosure, tenant, insurance, and legal questions may require an attorney, CPA, lender, probate professional, housing counselor, or other qualified specialist. The Synergy team can help organize questions and identify the appropriate next conversation.
