How brokerage referrals work.

When an open-market listing may better fit an owner’s goals, Synergy may refer the owner to an independent licensed brokerage. Any listing relationship begins only after the owner selects and signs a separate agreement with that brokerage.

Alex Gonzalez may receive a referral fee from a participating brokerage. Referral-fee disclosure should be presented before referral acceptance and when an agreement is being signed, such as a listing agreement.

MGR Real Estate may be named in Alex’s biography, but the site should not imply an exclusive brokerage relationship unless a written agreement permits it.
